For this major Midtown Atlanta corridor, GreenbergFarrow prepared site development studies to evaluate the future development potential of the site and studied accessibility options that will be available following the reconstruction of the expressway bridge. The scheme reconnects two neighborhoods split by the expressway’s construction in the 1960s -- Midtown to the east and Home Park to the west -- by shortening the pedestrian’s walk and designing the bridge with common elements that form a visual link across the expressway. Streetscaping elements are carried through into the 14th Street corridor.
